The M1917 Browning is a .30 calibre water cooled heavy machine gun. It saw limited service during WWI because of production delays. Only around
1,200 units saw combat and was only in the last few months of WWI. The rate of fire was 450 rounds/min using a 250 round fabric belt. The M1917 also saw service during the Korean War and was only phased out in the late 1960's
