Plaque Reads :-
Designed by RSAF Enfield in 1870 and entered service in 1871. This rifle had a falling block, single round action. Rifle Length 49 inches (124.5 cm). Weighting 8 lbs 7ozs (3.827 kg). Rate of fire 12 rounds per min.
Firing a 577/450 Boxer- Henry round. Muzzle Velocity 1,250 fps (380 m/s)
