Antiqued English Pewter 1/6 mounted replica of the Thompson M1928A1 sub machine gun and .45 ACP round (deactivated) with a short information panel.
On black baize, with green mount and housed in a walnut coloured frame.

Invented by John T. Thompson in 1919, it became infamous during the prohibition era. It was a common sight in the media of the time, being used by both law enforcement officers and criminals. The Model 1928 was the first type widely used by military forces, with the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps as major buyers through the 1930s.
