The M1903 Springfield, formerly the United States Rifle, Calibre .30-06, Model 1903 is a 5 round magazine fed, bolt action service repeating rifle. Officially adopted by the US on June 19th 1903. The M1903 saw service in both World Wars, even though it was officially replaced in 1936 by the M1 Garand.
